Dear participants,

We have received many enthusiastic messages from everyone who wants to know what to expect and how they can prepare their students for the competition. However, this year we have decided to give everyone equal opportunities by not publishing the rules, assignment, theme, and details of the competition until March 9, during the reception and breakfast at our school. We hope we have provided you with sufficient information.

All the slots are filled this for this years competition. We are happy to announce that this year the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Sweden and Latvia will fight for gold in March. Who is gonna take home the Gold?

Today, we had the exciting opportunity to present our work to the vocational schools oranizingschools in the competition. The energy in the room was palpable, with students and teachers alike showing genuine interest in what we are developing. We shared our current projects, discussed our vision for the future, and highlighted the innovative ideas we’ve been exploring. It was incredibly rewarding to see how receptive everyone was—many asked thoughtful questions, offered constructive feedback, and even shared their own insights, which made the session feel more like a collaborative brainstorming than a typical presentation. Their enthusiasm was contagious, leaving us inspired and more motivated than ever to continue pushing our ideas forward.

A new chapter begins! Today, we’re thrilled to unveil the brand-new SMTC Friesland logo—a symbol of our growth, energy, and ambition. Every element of the design reflects the journey we’ve been on and the exciting path ahead. We can’t wait for everyone to see it and connect with what it represents. The energy behind this change is infectious, and we hope it inspires the same excitement in you as it does in us.
