Veltman Vis
As a wholesaler, quality is naturally always the decisive factor at Veltman Vis, and we want to reflect this in everything we do. We will always strive to offer our customers the best and freshest products.
This allows customers to enjoy delicious fish and prepare beautiful dishes, making high-quality products suddenly accessible and affordable for everyone. That is one of Veltman Vis's most important objectives.
De Molkerij
Almost 30 years ago they could never have imagined that mother and daughter would ever have plans to process 400,000 kilos of milk. The family moved from the city to ‘t Bildt in 1990. “My mother wanted to go here because of the peace and space. She bought a goat for the children that we called Snow White. She began to milk the goat and used the milk to make butter, cheese, buttermilk, and yogurt for her own use. It was very idyllic.
Long Horn Farm
We want to take a broad and varied approach to promoting sustainability and health in relation to people, animals and nature. Soil and soil life, biodiversity, nature conservation, animals and crops, aquatic life and water quality are key concepts in this regard. Good physical and mental health is largely determined by lifestyle.
A good balance between work and sustainable relaxation, proper and healthy nutrition, and good care of the body, soul and spirit can contribute to this.
Hunter and Chef Arjen Biesma
Arjen Biesma is a Frisian hunter and chef known for his commitment to sustainable game management and the responsible use of wildlife meat, particularly geese. Based in Fryslân, he combines his knowledge of hunting with his experience as a chef and traditional meat processor. Biesma sees hunting as inseparable from responsibility: where geese cause a nuisance, he advocates not wasting the meat but using it in culinary preparations.
With products and dishes such as sausage, pâté, and smoked goose meat, he shows that wildlife can be not only functional but also tasty and accessible. Through his work, he wants to make people more aware of the origin of food and show that sustainability, tradition, and gastronomy can go hand in hand.

Fryslân Fungies
Everyone (or well, almost everyone) drinks coffee. But what far fewer people know is that only 0.2% of coffee beans end up in your cup of coffee. The rest is considered waste and thrown away. But not for much longer, if we have our way!
Fryslân Fungies was founded with the mission of making the circular economy tangible and edible. The impact we have on people, the environment and the economy is central to this. In order to make as much positive impact as possible, we have therefore set two impact objectives to which everything we do can be traced back.
Oester fabriek
In 2017, the idea arose to stimulate employment on our island with an industry that did not yet exist: oyster fishing and everything that goes with it. Working in a circular way, harvesting oysters by hand, organising excursions and setting up a web shop; much has already been achieved in recent years.
In June 2024, we opened a location at the harbour at Willem Barentszkade 22. Here you will find our gem: the oyster shop, bar and restaurant, where you can walk in to taste fresh wild Wadden Sea oysters or enjoy delicious seafood dishes. The shop also sells fun accessories, such as oyster plates and other maritime goodies. The De Parel apartment is fully ready for rental and offers a luxurious stay above the Oyster Factory.
Farmer Bart
We are Bartele and Rianne Holtrop,

A place where children can go on adventures
while you relax with a
delicious cup of coffee and a tasty lunch.
There is always something to do.
The cows need to be brought in for milking and
eggs need to be collected from the chicken coop.
Schootstra vis specialist
After five generations and more than 100 years of the Schootstra family, we were extremely proud to take over “The Pearl of the North” in September 2020. We secretly use this name for our fishmonger's shop at Schrans 119 in Leeuwarden after someone found a pearl in an oyster.
We are Henri and Sonja Terpstra, and with our culinary background, you can expect something special from us.
Stoerbrood
At Stoerbrood in Opeinde, craftsmanship, quality, and taste are key. We bake fresh bread and pastries every day with a love for our craft and an eye for detail. Using honest ingredients and traditional recipes, we make products you can trust and enjoy. Whether you're looking for crusty bread, a delicious pastry, or something special for a special occasion, you're always welcome at Stoerbrood.
Fryske Baarch
We are Veronica & Durk and we raise Frisian pigs on the Wadden Sea coast in Tzummarum. Our animals live outdoors, have plenty of space, and behave naturally. This allows them to grow up in peace and quiet—and you can taste the difference.
We consciously choose small-scale production and short supply chains. No anonymous chain, but directly from us – the farmer – to your plate. That way, you know exactly where your food comes from and how it was produced.
Feintsje fan Menaam
Feintsje fan Menaam is a unique breeding ground for local food in Friesland. Feintsje develops its own products from everything that can be found in the fields, meadows, and orchards. In addition, it is creating an ever-growing collection of the finest local products it can find. We have gathered all of these for you in what is now the largest farm shop in Friesland!
We are the Lautenbach family: Jelmar, Grietje, and our three children.
Our mission? To reconnect people with where their food comes from—with the landscape, the farmer, and the season.
Boomsma
Enjoyment is all about taking your time. Since 1883, enjoyment has been central to the production of our beverages. We know that quality takes time. So we take our time. Using only natural ingredients and traditional kettles. Controlling the entire process ourselves. World-class beverages for your moments of enjoyment.
Moments of enjoyment deserve time. Yet almost no one takes the time. We are all preoccupied with tomorrow, paying too little attention to the present and the past. “Those were good times,” we say too often, too late. At Boomsma, we believe that you should not only reminisce, but above all enjoy the present. Because today is the day to do it.
Spijkerman Butcher Shop
For us, it's all about making conscious choices. We follow our instincts, are passionate about our profession, and always ask ourselves whether something new suits us. This applies to the products in our range as well as to our working methods and cooperation with suppliers.
An important choice concerns the origin of the meat we offer in our store. The suppliers we work with share our love for the profession and work in an environmentally responsible and animal-friendly manner.
We offer products of the highest quality, carefully selected and rich in flavor. The ingredients we use most when preparing meat are herbs, a pinch of salt and pepper, and lots of love and time!
DutchBeans
DutchBeans Craft Coffee consists of traditionally roasted coffee beans of the highest quality, renowned for their perfect taste, freshness, and quality. We use only the best coffee beans, selected by our top baristas and coffee roasters. The espresso beans are roasted in small batches, resulting in unparalleled coffee quality. Naturally, DutchBeans coffee is sustainably and organically grown, hand-picked, and roasted in an energy-efficient manner. Coffee just as the modern barista in the hospitality industry desires.
LIF Group
LIF was founded out of a desire to contribute to a greener and healthier society. We—Harm, Ard-Jan, and Marnix—share a great passion for cooking and, above all, for truly fresh, high-quality herbs. Because without fresh herbs, making tasty dishes is really not the same. Fortunately, we are seeing that the use of fresh herbs is becoming increasingly popular, both in the kitchen and, for example, for making fresh tea.
The Havercoöperatie
The Oat Cooperative aims to bring together the strengths of farmers, processors, and food pioneers to give oats a prominent place in the Dutch landscape and in Dutch cuisine.
By reintegrating oats, a crop that historically played an important role in farmers' crop plans, the cooperative is creating a future-proof financial perspective for its members. Oats also ensure healthy soil and healthy stomachs.
Members of the cooperative are working together to build a strong and sustainable oat market for Dutch farmers.
Syb Zijlstra
From restaurant to Sybz Catering, which has grown into more than just a catering company. From school cooking and private dinners to organizing unforgettable barbecue workshops—I have always looked for ways to share my passion for cooking.
With a creative mind and a desire to always improve, I built my own food trucks. Sitting still is not my style! I always give my best, whether it's coming up with new dishes or searching for the perfect preparation method.
At Sybz Catering, everything revolves around pure flavor for me. My dishes contain no added sugars, salt, or fats—only the freshest ingredients, with attention to every step of the process. I believe that the best food should simply speak for itself.
